Step 1: Open Control Panel.
To open it, press ⊞ Win+X hotkeys to open Quick Access Menu and choose Control Panel in it. -
Step 2: Find Show or hide common icons on the desktop in Personalization.
As the Control Panel window pops up, type desktop icons in the search box and choose Show or hide common icons on the desktop under Personalization. , For example, you can deselect Computer, Network, Recycle Bin, Control Panel and User’s Files, and then click OK to hide them from the desktop. -
Step 3: Unselect the system-provided desktop icons in Desktop Icon Settings.
