Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Step 1: Launch MS Outlook.

    This will open the Export Wizard.

    In the dropdown menu to choose an action to perform, click Import Internet Mail Account Settings, and then click Next. , In the dropdown menu to select a mail client to import from, choose Microsoft Outlook Express or Microsoft Windows Mail, and then click Next.

    Check if the name is correct, and then click Next.

    Make sure your email address is correct, and then click Next. , Make sure the incoming and outgoing email servers are correct, and then click Next to import your settings. , Go to File → Open.

    Click the Import tab to launch the Import and Export Wizard.

    Choose Import Internet Mail and Addresses, and then click Next.

    Choose your previous client — Outlook Express

    6.x, or Windows Mail. , Check the appropriate boxes to import mail, your address book, and/or rules, and then click Next.

    Choose the Outlook Contacts Folder or your Personal Address Book as the destination for your import.

    Outlook 2010 and Outlook 2007 do not allow importing rules, as rules subset in both these versions was extended.

    Outlook 2010/ 2007 and 2003 versions allow importing only into the Outlook Contacts Folder. , Choose an option to handle duplicates while importing, then click Finish.
