  1. Step 1: Open the Instagram app.

    It’s in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

    It may appear as your profile picture or the gray outline of a person. ,, They’re above the right corner of the picture.

    They will be horizontal for the iPhone and vertical for the Android. ,, It will be below your username.

    Locations are not automatically added when you post a photo, so there may not be a location to remove from the photo. ,, The location that the photo was taken will no longer be seen when your photo is viewed.
