How to Save a Copy of a Web Page's Source to Your Desktop in Safari

Step-by-Step Guide

   Step 1: Open Safari.

   You will be immediately taken to your home page, whether it be Google, Yahoo, or anything else.

   Step 2: Find the web address bar.

   It should be at the very top of the window you have open.
   
   Type in the web address of the page you wish to save a copy of. , Find the "Save As..." button, then click on it. , Click on it and select "Page Source". , After you save the page, you should see it on your desktop.
   
   Open it, and you will find the source text of the page!

   Step 3: Click on "File" at the very top

   Step 5: Look for the drop-down menu with the word "Format:".

   Step 6: Click Save at the bottom (just like you would do for a web archive).
