  1. Step 1: Open the Settings application.

    It's the gray icon containing gears.
  2. Step 2: Tap Cellular.

    On iPhones set to U.K.

    English, tap Mobile Data. , It's the fourth section of the menu.

    It will tell you both standard and roaming data usage for the current billing period.

    This is the aggregate data for all apps. ,, Your iPhone's apps are listed alphabetically.

    The amount of cellular data used appears beneath each individual app.

    If no number is listed, cellular data is either turned off or the app has used no cellular data.

    To turn off and conserve cellular data, simply tap on the slider next to "Cellular Data" at the top of the screen.

    Make sure no green appears.
