Step 1: Open your iPhone’s Settings.
This is the grey icon with gears located on the home screen. -
Step 2: Scroll down and tap Maps.
This is in the fifth set of options. ,, The button will turn green when turned on.
A compass will now appear in the upper right corner while navigating with maps.
The iPhone also has a separate Compass app if you need help with more specific directional navigation. -
Step 3: Scroll down and tap Driving & Navigation.

Step 4: Slide the Compass button to the On position.
