Step 1: Click the “Edit” menu.
Select “Special Characters” from the context menu.

Not all applications will support special characters. -
Step 2: Use a keyboard shortcut.
Alternatively you can press ⌥ Option+⌘ Command+T on your keyboard to open the Special Characters pane. , You can find it in the left pane of the Special Characters window. , If the program supports it, the emoji will appear where you place it. -
Step 3: Click “Emoji”.
