Step 1: Open Windows Movie Maker.
You can do this by using the "Capture From Video Device" button on the left side of the screen.
You might stick your hand out, point a finger, hold a toy gun, and so on.
Do not hold this position for more that one second, for it will make the video less appealing. , Don't confuse the time line with the storyboard. , To get the exact time, use the step by step slider below the video. ,, There is a picture of scissors below the preview box.
Once this is complete, you should see a small thumbnail of your picture in the middle of the screen (collections box). ,,,, If it still needs shortening to look real, use the speed up double effect. , You could also press the play button under the preview screen. -
Step 2: Capture a video of yourself pretending to shoot a laser.

Step 3: Drag the clip of your video into the time line.

Step 4: Play the video up to the very tenth of a second that you are about to fire the laser.

Step 5: Go up to Tools and select "Take Picture From Preview".

Step 6: Cut the clip at the appropriate location.

Step 7: Open up MSPaint (or any other photo editing software) and draw a straight line from the point of fire to the point of impact.

Step 8: Save the completed picture.

Step 9: Go back into Windows Movie Maker and drag the picture from the collections box into the section of the video that you cut.

Step 10: Shorten it to the smallest length possible.

Step 11: Move the slider bar all the way to the beginning of the video
