   Step 1: Find a shot glass

   Choice of tequila is an integral part of the tradition.

   Anything with a worm in it gives you an instant man status, even if you tear up afterward.

   Step 3: Choose the tequila to be imbibed.

   Step 6: Cut the lemon/lime into eighths.
