  1. Step 1: The first thing you need to do before you start is

    (You need to know this for later).
  2. Step 2: you need to decide if you want all the songs/video on the iPod

    ,,,,, (You may already have that selected). ,, They will be marked with unusual names such as "BGZO" or "CDQO" those are the songs or video.

    With the songs you selected in the beginning you should have marked or written down the length of the song.

    That should help narrow your search.

  4. Step 4: Plug in the iPod using the appropriate connector

  5. Step 5: You open up "My Computer"

  6. Step 6: Your iPod drive should have connected

  7. Step 7: you now double click on your iPod drive.

  8. Step 8: Once you're in the iPod click on Tools>Folder Options

  9. Step 9: Click on the "View" Tab

  10. Step 10: Scroll down a little bit to see the "Do not show hidden files and folders" and the "Show hidden files and folders" option.

  11. Step 11: Click on "Show hidden files and folders" if necessary.
