Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Step 1: Log in to your invoicera account.

    In case you do not have an account over Invoicera, register with Invoicera, it takes only few seconds.
  2. Step 2: Add your client by clicking on ‘Add Client’ under Clients section.

    Fill your client details there. , Click on late fee tab and set your late fee type there, whether it would be fixed or in percent, whether the late fee would be charged once or twice or weekly. , Add your products/services in invoice.

    Select the late fee from ‘Late Fee’ section from Additional Options.

    Click on preview and if the invoice looks OK, send it to client. ,
  3. Step 3: Go to ‘Tax/Charge/Late Fee’ under Settings tab.

  4. Step 4: Click on ‘Create Invoice’ under Invoices tab

  5. Step 5: select your client

  6. Step 6: select the payment terms say Net-15 (It means late fee would be applied after 15 days of Invoice sent)

  7. Step 7: in case payment terms are different from the given options

  8. Step 8: select the custom date from ‘Due Date’ section (Suppose you select 20 days after date

  9. Step 9: a late fee would be charged after 20 days.).

  10. Step 10: Now if your client doesn’t make a payment after the due date

  11. Step 11: a late fee would be applied to his invoice automatically and this would help you to get quicker payments from your client.
