  1. Step 1: Place your watch on a soft

    Rolex watches are expensive to replace and repair, so protect your watch by winding it on a stationary surface where it can't slip out of your hand.

    The watch will continue to run properly during this time.

    To set the time, from the third position, move the crown clockwise or counterclockwise until you reach the appropriate time.

    The second hand will stop automatically when the crown is in this position but will resume when it goes back to the second position.

    When finished setting the time and date, push the crown back in and screw clockwise tightly back into place.
