  1. Step 1: Open the Phone app.

    Tap the Voicemail tab.
  2. Step 2: Tap the "Greeting" button in the top left corner of the screen/app.

    ,,, Make sure the caller understands that they have received a voicemail/answering machine for yourself and that they should leave some type of message.

    Let them know that they don't have to leave a date and time, since the app already records this data when the voicemail mailbox picks up the call and the Missed call message gets received. ,, Press the Play button on the preview line of your greeting-preview. , Tap the Save button from near the top right corner of the screen.
